No power

COIMBATORE, AUG. 7. There will be no power supply in the following places on August 9 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. owing to shutdown of Madampatty sub-station for maintenance:

Madampatty, Kuppanur, Karadimadai, Sennanur, Alandurai, Eruttupalam, Semedu, Poondy, Siruvani, Devarayapuram, Naraseepuram, Thondamuthur, Kulathupalayam, Dhaliyur, Sundapalayam, Kalikanaikenpalayam, Theethipalayam, Kalampalayam, Pachapalayam, Perur, Perur-Chettipalayam and Goundanur.

Medical camps

The Rotary Club of Tirupur Metal Town will conduct a free orthopaedic camp on August 8 in association with the Rex Ortho Hospital at Devangapuram School, Avinashi Road, Tirupur.

According to a release, the camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

PSG Hospitals will conduct a free consultation camp for spine (back) and joint disorders on August 8 at the hospital.

According to a release, special concessions will be given for joint replacement surgeries.

Lions Club of Coimbatore Splendour, Sedhu Vidhyalaya Matriculation School and K.G. Eye Hospital will conduct an eye camp on the school premises on August 8.
