HYDERABAD, AUG. 8. The APCC president, D. Srinivas, completed one year in office on Sunday. He was greeted on the occasion by partymen at his residence and Gandhi Bhavan where he spent over three hours discussing arrangements for the crucial general body meeting of the APCC on Monday. Mr. Srinivas, who is also the Rural Development Minister, shunned any kind of ostentation on the occasion. He along with the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, would be formally felicitated at the general body meeting. The APCC chief will host a dinner for the AICC general secretary, Digvijay Singh, who will attend the meeting as the chief guest. The Union Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Union Minister of State, A. Narendra, and the six Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) Ministers in the Cabinet will also attend the dinner.
