BANGALORE, AUG. 8. The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) team of S. Karthik, Ashwath Venkataraman, Kesavan Mukunthar and Aadisht Khanna, on Saturday took the top honours, winning in the special round of the BBC World's "University Challenge", the news channel's popular quiz here. Thirty-eight teams of four members each took part in the special quiz.The IIMB team took on the reigning champions from Mumbai's Sardar Patel College of Engineering. In what appeared to be a nail-biting finish, the whiz kids from IIMB defeated the reigning champions by five points, scoring 180 points.
