Passport applications cleared

CHENNAI, AUG. 10. Passport applications submitted up to file number A-015100/04 (Chennai city) received till June 1, and B022544/04 (other districts) till June 3 at the Regional Passport Office, Chennai, were despatched in the week ending August 6.

Chennai city cases submitted at speed post centres with W-series, till May 17, have been despatched. Applications submitted at Pondicherry till June 30 up to P-002088/04 and those submitted directly by Pondicherry residents at Chennai up to P-101095/04 till June 28 have also been despatched.

Applications for passports renewal up to C-018259/04 received till June 14 have been sent. Those of minor categories submitted up to F-007519/04 till July 2 and by other regions up to V-003311/04 at the RPO, Chennai, till June 17, were also sent off, a release from the Chennai Regional Passport Office said.
