COIMBATORE: In a bid help the mobile users who run out of battery, Airtel, has planned to install 100 mobile charger units at various public places in the rest of the Tamil Nadu circle. These units would be installed in major corporate houses and major shopping complexes, airports, railway-stations and hospitals. These units would have cords that would suit widely used handsets from Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola and Sony Ericsson. The Chief Operating Officer of Airtel, Ramgopal Vallath, added that Airtel would be organising customer meets in towns like Pondicherry, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchirapalli next week. In the second phase, such meets would be organised in smaller taluk towns.
