Amada moves software unit to Chennai

CHENNAI: Amada Co. Limited (ACL), Japan, Amada a world leader in providing factory automation solution for sheet metal industry, is moving all its computer aided design (CAD) requirements to its 100 per cent owned Indian subsidiary Amada Soft India (ASI). Amada produces CNC machines for cutting and bending, robots and flexible manufacturing systems layouts, according to a company release. ACL is a $2 billion company with over 2,500 employees in Japan, the U.S., China and India.
