LKB starts RTGS settlement

HYDERABAD: Lord Krishna Bank announced it commenced settlement through the Reserve Bank of India's recently launched real time gross settlement system (RTGS). According to a press release issued here, this arrangement will enable the bank to ensure transfer of funds instantaneously among member banks of RTGS systems, through electronic transfer mechanism, and avail the benefit of pooling of funds at different centres. The bank will extend this facility to the customers shortly, it said.
