Six-wicket win for Rising Stars

HYDERABAD, AUG. 10. Rising Stars recorded a six-wicket win over Gowtham Model School in the under-13 category of the III C. Umesh Chandra Memorial cricket tournament at the Air Force Station Grounds (Balanagar) here on Tuesday.

The scores:

Under-13: Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS, 158 for six (V. Vivekbabu 51, Raghavender 50) lost to DPS 160 for three (Surender Singh 81, Aneesh Reddy 36).

Gowtham Model HS 141 for four (Dharampal 68 not out, B. Rohit 30; Lokesh three for 15) lost to Rising Stars 142 for four (Karthik 55 not out, Lokesh 30 not out; Dheeraj three for 35).

Gujarathi HS 86 (Sashank five for 26, Shivaram three for 13) lost to Bhega's HS 89 for one (Vasanth Reddy 55 not out).

St. Patrick's HS 183 for eight (Sachin 64) bt St. Antony's HS 115 (Prasanna 33, P. S. Chaitanya Reddy three for three).
