Main draw from today

MYSORE, AUG. 10. The main draw of the AITA talent series junior's tennis tournament (for under-14 & under-18 boys and girls) will start from Wednesday at the Mysore Tennis Club courts.

Yesh Bafna, Varun Shetty, T.S. Pradeep, Pranav Anand, Sooraj Prasad, Sriram Vasanth, A.M. Suraj and Shreyas Bharadwaj (all from Karnataka) were the qualifiers in the boys' under-18 section.

In the boys' under-14 section, Ishwar Prasad and Avinash Ramanathan (both from TN), Siddant Burathoki (AP), Vinod Gowda, Uttam Singh, Vikas Hansoge, Pranav Bhat and Anand Prajwal (all from Karnataka) were the qualifiers.

The results: Qualifying: final round: Boys: under-18: Yesh Bafna bt Pyra Singh 6-3, 6-4; Varun Shetty bt S. Siddarth 6-7 (4); 6-0, 6-3; T.S. Suraj bt Siddarth Burathoki 6-0, 6-3; Shreyas Bharadwaj bt Shravan 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
