VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 10. The renovated premises and a new currency chest of the nationalised Indian Overseas Bank was inaugurated in Dwarakanagar here on Tuesday by its Chairman and Managing Director, S.C. Gupta. ``The currency chest is the first among all the branches of IOB in Visakhapatnam Region,'' said Mr. Gupta and requested its customers and the public to avail themselves of the services of the renovated branch. The IOB Senior Regional Manager, A.J. Prasad, said the bank, with 31 branches and eight extension counters spread over five coastal districts in the region, had a total business mix of Rs. 847 crores with deposits at Rs. 490 crores and advances of Rs. 357 crores. He said the region had set a target to achieve a business mix of Rs.1,000 crores during the current fiscal. Earlier, the IOB General Manager, M.K. Chaturvedi, lit the lamp.
