Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 10. The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant unit of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was congratulated on Tuesday by the Vice-Chairman of Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority, D. Sreenivasulu on achieving a hat trick, winning the All-India Fire Unit Trophy for the last three years. He was speaking as the chief guest at the 22nd CISF Raising Day function in VSP, after taking the salute of the ceremonial parade. He also planted a sapling along with others to mark the occasion. The VSP Director (commercial), Y. Siva Sagara Rao, its Chief Vigilance Officer, M.K. Das, the Executive Director (works), K.K. Rao, the ED (maintenance), Ayyappa Naidu, and the General Manager (vigilance), S.N. Prasad, were present. The CISF Unit Commandant, G.S.R. Raju, welcomed the gathering. Mr. Sreenivasulu distributed prizes to winners in the games, drawing and essay competitions conducted as part of the celebrations. The Unit Deputy Commandant, H.P.S. Rathore, proposed a vote of thanks.
