BANGALORE, AUG. 10. The Mayor, P.R. Ramesh, on Tuesday directed the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) officials to ensure regular supply of drinking water to BMP schools and maintenance of toilets in the institutions. During his inspection of developmental works taken up by the BMP in Kempegowdanagar, Visvesvarpuram and Basavanagudi, the Mayor noticed that several schools in these wards did not have basic facilities and their buildings needed immediate repairs. The Mayor inspected the ongoing restoration of the Kempambudhi Tank and said the tank would be restored by October.
