Bhargava is MREC's hero

HYDERABAD, AUG. 11. A last-ball sixer by Bhargava enabled Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) to defeat B.V. Raju Engineering College by four wickets in the Bandari Srinivas trophy inter-engineering colleges cricket tournament, sponsored by the Bandari Educational Society and conducted by the Sports Coaching Foundation at Chevella, on Wednesday according to information received.

Batting first, B.V. Raju EC scored 102 for six and while chasing Malla Reddy EC needed six runs off the last ball which was scored by Bhargav who was then declared Man of the Match.

The scores:

Gurunanak EC 111 for eight (Anil 31) lost to Vidya Jyothi EC 114 for five. Man of the Match: Sudhakiran.

B.V. Raju EC 102 for six (Rahul 32) lost to Malla Reddy EC 103 for six (Saradhi 36). Man of the Match : Bhargava.
