Transit trade

Sir, — This refers to the article, `Trade-off on transit' (Aug. 12), by C. Raja Mohan.

A transit route between India and Pakistan can bring back the past glory for Asia as a whole if the talks on economic cooperation have a positive result. However, all such initiatives so far seem to be emanating only from the Indian side.
