Bad day for New Horizon

BANGALORE, AUG. 12. Host New Horizon Public School had a bad day in the State-level inter-school basketball tournament here on Thursday.

In the under-13 section New Horizon girls `A' lost to National Public School 35-15, while in the under-17 category its boys `B' team came a cropper against St. Charles losing 15-11.

Under-13: Boys: Vidya Niketan bt New Horizon `C' 52-4; Cathedral bt Miranda 22-6; St. Joseph's Boys bt Clarence 18-5. Girls: Mallya Aditi Int. bt Mary Immaculate 27-13.

Under 17: Boys: NPS, K'mangala bt Vidya Niketan 27-18. Girls: Cluny Convent bt New Horizon English 44-5.
