Aptech withdraws application

CHENNAI, AUG. 12. Aptech has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it is withdrawing a joint application filed with the bourse in tandem with SSI for in-principle approval for allotment and listing of 16.75 lakh equity shares of the face value Rs. 10 each to SSI.

The share allotment proposal followed the merger of the education division of SSI with that of Aptech in an attempt to consolidate the business.
