BANGALORE, AUG. 12. The Karnataka State Cable TV Operators Association has threatened to take out a "Bangalore Chalo" on Monday in protest against a private television network, which is running three Kannada television channels, "for charging a fee of Rs. 18 on the cable subscribers." In a press release here on Thursday, the association president, Patrick Raju, said the move had adversely hit the people, particularly those in the rural areas.
