BANGALORE, AUG. 12. The R.T. Nagar Police have arrested two persons and recovered from them gold ornaments and silver articles, together worth Rs. 1.50 lakhs. The police said the arrested, James alias Venkatesh (47) of Banaswadi and Shankar (23) of Heggadadevanakote in Mysore district, were involved in three cases of house break-in and theft reported from R.T. Nagar and Nanjangud police station limits.
Arrested
The Jayanagar Police have arrested seven persons who were allegedly planning to commit a dacoity near a college in Jayanagar. The police have recovered from them mobile phones worth Rs. 30,000 and also seized an autorickshaw. The names of the arrested were given as Arun Kumar (19), Govind (21), Kane Manjunath (21) and Manjunath (21) of Marenahalli, Selvaraj (20) of MICO Road, N. Murthy (21) of Chandrappanagar and Venu (22) of Hulimavu.
