Journalist freed

BAGHDAD, AUG. 13. Militants in the southern Iraqi city of Basra stormed into a hotel, kidnapped a British journalist and threatened to kill him if U.S. forces did not leave the holy city of Najaf within 24 hours. He was set free later.
