MUMBAI, AUG. 14. The Reserve Bank of India would conduct an auction of two treasury bills aggregating Rs. 4,000 crores, including Rs. 2,500 crores under the Market Stabilisation Scheme (MSS), on August 18. The 364-day T-bill of Rs. 2,000 crore, includes Rs. 1,000 crores under MSS, while in the case of 91 day T-bill of Rs. 2,000 crores, the MSS component was pegged at Rs. 1,500 crores, the RBI said in a release here today. The allocation to non-competitive bidders would be outside the notified amount at the discretion of the central bank. PTI
