Cameraman covering Olympic flame relay dies

ATHENS, AUG. 14. A Chinese television cameraman died on Friday after collapsing while covering the Olympic flame as it made its way to the stadium at the end of its global journey, police said.

Chang Lei, 43, of Beijing TV, was among dozens of Chinese journalists accredited to the Olympic Games. Along with other members of his crew, he was following to torch as it wound its way through the greater Athens area.

He was taken to Athens' Evengelismos hospital where he died.
