Central Excise-FCI final

KOVILPATTI, AUG. 14. Central Excise and Food Corporation of India, both from Chennai, entered the final of the State-level hockey tournament at the G.K.N. Stadium here on Saturday.

The results (semifinals): Central Excise 3 (Somasundaram, Sriram Singh, Radha Krishnan) bt G.K. Motor Finance HC 1 (Richard); FCI 3 (Johnson, Vijayakumar, Bhaskaran) bt Armed Reserve Police 1 (Parthiban) via tie breaker. FCI 2 (Johnson, Venkatesan) bt Jamal Mohamed College 1 (Rajapandian); AR Police, Chennai 2 (Manikandan, Hakeem) bt Thirunagar HC Madurai 1 (Rajeshkannan); Central Excise 3 (Ramkumar, Sriramsingh, Radhakrishnan) bt Port Trust, Tuticorin 2 (Balamurugan 2).<137>
