Slow pace at medical camp irks Collector

GUNTUR, AUG. 14. The slow pace of conduct of `special medical camp for children with heart diseases' at the Guntur Government General Hospital forced many of the kids wait in the hot sun for long hours as the number of patients swelled continuously.

The slow pace was alleged to be due to non-attendance of two doctors of the hospital for the camp. The district Collector, K. Ramakrishna Rao, who came to know of the difficulties being faced by the patients immediately came to the hospital and took the organisers to task.

The Revenue Divisional Officer was called to make arrangements for the shelter of the waiting patients.
