Four held

The Ramgopalpet police arrested four persons who allegedly assaulted a traffic constable of Ramgopalpet traffic police station on Friday.

Ahmed, Abdul Hameed, Sajid and Yousuf were reportedly in an inebriated condition and were driving on the wrong side near People's Plaza. When the constable, Ch. Sudhakar Reddy, stopped them, they reportedly roughed him up.

Nurse dies in

road mishap

A nurse with the health centre in HCU campus, C. Timmagamma (50) died when the two-wheeler she was driving was hit by a lorry at Gachibowli on Friday.

Boy crushed

to death

A class VIII student of Navbharat School, Syed Naseeb alias Salman, (13) was crushed to death by an oil tanker at Fatehnagar on Friday.
