KOLLAM, AUG. 15. The Department of Chemistry of the S.N. College will hold a two-day workshop on `Computer applications in Chemistry' on August 16 and 17. The workshop, sponsored by the UGC, will be held in the college seminar hall. The workshop is aimed at training chemistry teachers on the use of computers in research, teaching and learning pursuits. R.P. Lalaji, IT expert, will inaugurate the workshop at a meeting to be presided over by the college Principal, R. Jayaprakash. The keynote address will be delivered by the director of C-Dit, Achuth Shankar S. Nair.
