Tension at Yediyuru

TUMKUR, AUG. 15. The authorities imposed ban orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code for an indefinite period in and around the temple town of Yediyuru in Kunigal Taluk of Tumkur district today. This followed tension after a religious place under construction was attacked.

It is said that a group of persons, on noticing a green flag flying on the structure, allegedly attacked it.
