Oracle takes title

HYDERABAD, AUG. 15. Oracle defeated Seven Aces 2-1 in the final of the Kingfisher Corporate Cup football tournament under floodlights at Gymkhana Grounds here. Shakeel and George struck once each in the two sessions for the winner, while Vijaykumar reduced the margin for the loser.

In the semifinals, Oracle defeated GE-CIS with Shakeel (2) and Siddarth (1) being the scorers, while in another match Dinakar and S.K. Singh netted once each for Seven Aces in it's 2-1 win against Triniti. The consolation goal for the latter came through Prakash.

Dibakar of Wipro was the top-scorer of the event with 13 goals, while Puneet of Microsoft was adjudged best goalkeeper. De Shaw won the `fairplay trophy'.
