Praneeth hits century

HYDERABAD, AUG. 15. Fine century by captain Praneeth Kumar (105 not out, 8x4, 4x6) fashioned Khammam Bhavan's 91-run win against New Stars in the Inter-school league cricket championship match here today.

Batting first, Khammam scored 245 for seven with opener Ashish Reddy (92) and centurion Praneeth batting with authority. In reply, New Stars folded up for 154 with A.Varun Gutta (five for 34) being the main wicket-taker.

The scores: Khammam Bhavan's, 245 for seven (Ashish Reddy 92, Praneeth Kumar 105 not out) bt New Stars 154 (K.Nimeesh 64, A.Varun Gutta five for 34).
