Pro-Tec enters last eight

MYSORE, AUG. 15. Pro-Tech registered a 52-43 win over Rising Star Sports Club and entered the last-eight stage in the men's section in the Independence Day basketball tournament conducted by the Nationals Sports Club at the Subbarayanakere grounds here on Sunday.

The results:

Men (pre-quarterfinals): Pro-Tec 52 (Md. Hidayath 22, Priyaram 10) bt Rising Star SC 43 (Harish 15, Deepu 13); RMP Staff Club 43 bt Rangers SC 21 (Ravi 15); National Sports Club 66 (Naveen 15, Jayanth 13) bt Avengers SC 23 (Kevin 16).

Degree Colleges: Men: SJCE 29 (Ravikiran 11, Joy 11) bt Marimallappa's 20 (Arjun 11); Mahajana's 33 (B.S. Shashank 12) bt JSS Law 12 (Rohos 6). Women: SDMCC 20 bt Mahajana's 15.
