A stunning blow

ATHENS, AUG. 15. Star sprinters Kostantinoss Kenteris and Ekaterini Thanou were suspended on Saturday from the Greek Olympic team for missing drug tests, a stunning blow to the host nation of the Summer Games.

Lambis Nikolaou, president of the committee, said the board decided to remove the athletes until a final decision by the International Olympic Committee.

The sprinters' coach, Christos Tsekos, was also suspended. — AP
