VISAKHAPATNAM, AUG. 16. Among the petitions being received during the Spandana programme, only those concerning issues that could be solved by the district administration were being processed, the Collector, Pravin Prakash, said on Monday. Talking to the reporters during the weekly Spandana programme, Mr. Pravin Prakash, said that petitions were being received ranging from seeking ration cards, house sites and other needs, but they would be processed whenever a relevant scheme or programme was announced by the Government. All petitions were being computerised and those taken up for disposal were put on the website. According to him, about 250 petitions that could be solved by the district administration were accepted and 130 of them were solved.
Drop boxes
Today, the authorities arranged boxes into which the petitioners had to drop their petitions. The officials guided the petitioners to drop their applications in the relevant boxes.
