Bharathiar varsity results today

COIMBATORE, AUG. 17. The results of the M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.B.A., M.C.A., P.G.D.C.A., P.G.D.A.N.S., P.G.D.M.B.T. and P.G.D.B.I. examinations held in May 2004, for candidates of the School of Distance Education of Bharathiar University, will be published at 9 a.m. on August 18.

A release from the University said that the mark statements would be despatched to individual candidates from August 28.

The results would also be hosted on the following websites: www.b-u.ac.in, www.southindia.com, www.sasiads.com, www.camet.edu, www.coimbatore.com, www.covai.com and www.kovainews.com.

Candidates could give their register numbers and obtain their marks at these websites. Besides this, the results would be available through Airtel mobile phones, by sending the candidate's register number as a short messaging service (SMS) to 333.

Postgraduate diploma candidates could apply for revaluation of current semester papers, and all candidates were eligible to apply for re-totalling. Applications for revaluation or re-totalling could be obtained by post from the Controller of Examinations, by sending a stamped (Rs. 5) self-addressed envelope. The last date for receipt of filled in applications was September 3.
