TIRUCHI, AUG. 17. An unbeaten 66 by S. Arun Prasad enabled E.R. HSS score an eight-wicket win over K.A.P. Viswanatham HSS and sail into the quarterfinals of the inter-school under-17 Parle Cup cricket tournament.

The scores (pre-quarterfinals): K.A.P. Viswanatham HSS 130 for eight in 30 overs (Arun 25) lost to E.R. HSS 131 for two in 23.4 overs (S. Arun Prasad 66 n.o.).

Mahatma Gandhi HSS 161 for four in 30 overs (J. Nimalan 38, Rajagopal 36 n.o.) bt Teppakulam Bishop Heber HSS 146 in 28.1 overs (Ramsundar 29, Soundararajan 27, Mohan four for 26).
