SB College triumphs

KOCHI, AUG. 17. St. Berchmans College (Changanassery) beat Sree Kerala Varma College (Thrissur) 100-93 to win the men's basketball title in the 59th Fr. Bartholomew Trophy all-Kerala inter-collegiate tournaments, which concluded n Monday night.

Host Sacred Heart College bagged the men's volleyball title.

In the women's section, St Joseph's (Alappuzha) lifted the basketball trophy while Assumption (Changanassery) won the volleyball title.

The results (finals): Men: Basketball: St. Berchmans bt Sree Kerala Varma 100-93. Volleyball: Sacred Heart bt St. Thomas 25-20, 25-15, 25-23.

Women: Basketball: St. Joseph's bt St. Xavier's 70-68. Volleyball: Assumption bt St. Joseph's 25-20, 25-19, 21-25, 25-22.
