13 feared killed as bus plunges into river

SHIMLA,
AUG. 17.
At least 13 persons were feared killed, and 11 injured when a private bus plunged into the Beas river, 28 km from Mandi.
The bus was going to Kullu from Mandi when the driver reportedly lost control. Six bodies have been retrieved and a few are still believed to be trapped inside the bus.
Some bodies are feared to have been washed away in the strong current. The injured have been hospitalised.
A search was on to fish the missing bodies, and salvage the bus, according to a spokesperson of the administration.
According to the administration only 20 persons were travelling in the bus at the time of the accident. The driver who has been injured is not able to give a clear statement.
