BHUBANESWAR, AUG. 17. A Youth Congress worker was injured here last evening when miscreants hurled two country-made bombs at the Congress Bhavan, the party's headquarters in the State. The incident occurred around 7-30 p.m. an-hour-and-a-half after the newly-appointed Pradesh Congress Committee president, Jayadev Jena, addressed his maiden press conference. While Mr. Jena had left the venue, a few leaders were inside the building when the incident took place. As one bomb exploded breaking the glass panes of a few windows of the building, another failed to explode due to rain. Ranjib Rout, who was injured in the foot from flying glass shards, has been hospitalised. The police have recovered the unexploded bomb and begun a probe. However, they were still in the dark about the miscreants who fled the spot after hurling the bombs.
