THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, AUG. 17. When candidates with ranks up to 7,700 in the Medical rank list were covered under the revised Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) today, all the seats in the State Merit, TC and ML categories for all the courses have been filled. For the Agricultural, Fisheries, Homoeopathy and MLT courses, there are a few more seats yet to be filled in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category in the Government/aided colleges. Under the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, seats are vacant for all the courses in the Government/aided/self-financing colleges. In the self-financing colleges, under the SC quota, seats are available for the Nursing and Siddha courses and under the Ezhava, Muslim, LC, BH and BX categories, for the Nursing course. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has informed that students who have been allotted seats for the MBBS/BDS courses under the CAP could cancel their allotment if they have already secured seats in any other professional college either within Kerala or outside the State. They should exercise the option for cancellation now, by submitting the Annexure XV of the prospectus duly filled up, to the CEE before August 21. The fees remitted by such candidates will be refunded after the completion of the admission formalities.
