RPF drive against unauthorised travelling

CHENNAI, AUG. 17. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested 4271 persons in July for unauthorised vending and travelling, alarm chain pulling, and footboard travelling.

A fine of Rs 8.56 lakhs was collected from them.

The RPF also arrested 28 persons and recovered from them railway property worth Rs. 1.2 lakhs, according to an official release.
