Gang smashed

NEW DELHI,
AUG. 17.
A gang allegedly involved in several burglaries in big godowns has been busted by the North Delhi police. Four persons have been arrested in this connection and 150 bags of plaster of Paris and other chemicals recovered from them.
According to the police, a trap was laid at Sarai Rohilla in North Delhi following a tip-off about a stolen consignment ready to be disposed of on August 14. The police arrested Dhruv (34), Tuntun Singh (25), Naresh (26) and Vijay (27) from the spot. The recovered bags had been stolen from a godown at Anand Parbat in West Delhi on August 5.
The police said the gang used to look out for godowns storing huge quantity of materials by working as rickshaw pullers during the day.
