Letters to the Editor
Sir, It was indeed a moment of celebration for all Indians as Major Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore won independent India's first individual silver medal at the Olympics. At the same time, we should not be disappointed by the overall performance of our players. The true spirit of the Olympics lies in participating and not in winning.
Diana Sahu,
Sir, Major Rathore has carved a niche for himself. He has saved India from ending up in the `also ran' category at the Olympics.
H.P. Murali,
Sir, At last India has ended its medal drought. Hope the tally increases.
V. Harine,
