President's XI well placed

MYSORE, AUG. 18. President's XI reached 100 for no loss after bowling Combined City XI out for a paltry 134, at the close of the first day's play in a Group `A' league encounter in the KSCA inter-zonal under-15 tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores: At Mysore: Combined City XI 134 in 66 overs (Hardik H. Manuth four for 33) v President's XI 100 for no loss in 36 overs (Nishant Shikhawat 65 batting, Nihal Unni 27 batting).

At Mandya: Raichur Zone 205 for nine in 75 overs (Naresh 66, Ashwin Rao three for 39) v Mangalore Zone 39 for three in 15.5 overs.

Bangalore Zone 201 for seven in 75 overs (M. Kishore 70, Amrith 36) vs Dharwad Zone.

Tumkur Zone 176 in 71 overs (D. Sanjoth 42, Anoop Singh 39, M.D. Salauddin three for 37) vs Mysore Zone.

At Bangalore: Bangalore Zone 201 for seven in 75 overs (M. Kishore 70, Amrith 36) vs Dharwad Zone.

Tumkur Zone 176 in 71 overs (D. Sanjoth 42, Anoop Singh 39, M.D. Salauddin three for 37) vs Mysore Zone.
