Nityanand wins

HYDERABAD, AUG. 18. K. Nityanand of Shalibanda Cycling Club won the men's race in the Rajiv Gandhi Trophy cycling championship, conducted by the Hyderabad District Cycling Association here on Tuesday.

The results: Men: K. Nityanand (SCC); 2. D. Rakesh Kumar (SCC); 3. Amish Kumar Loya (Marwadi Hind Vidylaya).

Junior boys: 1. R. Arun Kanth (Uppuguda Youth Association); 2. Shiv Kumar (Victory PG); 3. Pawan Sharma (Victory PG).

Sub-Juniors: 1. V. Abhinav (St. Anthonys HS); 2. Mukesh Yadav (Geetha HS); 3. G. Arun Kumar (Geetha HS). Consolation prize: C. Madhu Babu (Amberpet PG).
