Double for Rajath

CHENNAI, AUG. 19. A. Rajath Kamal, younger brother of Sharath Kamal, who represented India in the Athens Olympics, regained the Fr. Principal's Cup, defeating Sivananda Seshadri of Bala Vidyamandir, Adyar, 11-5, 9-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-6 in the Bertram tournament at the Loyola College campus here on Thursday.

Rajath also won a double as he, partnering Sujith Kumar, captured the doubles title and the Krishnaswamy Aiyar's Cup, beating R. Abishek and Tarun George of PSBB 11-5, 2-11, 11-8, 12-10 in the final.

Ball badminton (super league): Loyola `A' bt R.K.M. Vivekananda 29-15, 29-14, bt Jamal Mohamed, Tiruchi, 29-24, 29-20; St. Joseph's `A', Tiruchi, bt Jamal Mohamed 29-14, 29-24, bt R.K.M. Vivekananda 29-18, 29-18.
