Water released

HYDERABAD, AUG. 19. Water was released into the right bank canal of Nagarjunasagar project late on Wednesday night following improvement in the dam's storage.

The opening of the right bank canal at this juncture was purely for meeting the drinking water needs of several villages and towns en route such as Ongole, Chilakaluripet and Sattenapalli.
