IAF records win
NEW DELHI,
AUG. 19.
Defending champion Indian Air Force and Raisina Sporting scored identical 2-1 victories in the Delhi Soccer Association senior division league here on Thursday.
At the Ambedkar Stadium, Simla Youngs took the lead against IAF when H. S. Rawat scored in the 14th minute. IAF equalised in the 65th minute through P. B. Sangdingliana. Two minutes later, L. Danny scored the match-winner.
In another match, Shahdara Club beat Shastri Club 1-0.
At the Nehru Stadium, Raisina Sporting trailed by a goal scored by Moonlight's Zunthanzalla. Raisina bounced back to score through Probin Rai and Mahesh Bisht to win.
