Double for Aneesh, Leena

BANGALORE, AUG. 19. K.A. Aneesh of CRSB and Leena Dhapre, of host LIC, clinched a double each. On the final day of the all-India inter-Institutional badminton championship here on Thursday, Aneesh beat Jason Xavier of LIC 15-8, 15-5, while Leenaoutclassed Sumithra Pujari of BSNL 11-4, 11-1.

Men's singles: K.A. Aneesh bt Jason Xavier 15-8, 15-5.

Doubles: Aneesh/Sanave Thomas (CRSB) bt Jason Xavier/Soman Bhattacharji (LIC) 15-8, 15-3.

Women's singles: Leena Dhapre (LIC) bt Sumithra Pujar (BSNL) 11-4, 11-4.
