`Access to healthcare, education must for economic progress'

BANGALORE, AUG. 19. India can make economic progress only when the people get access to proper healthcare and education, which they have a right to, M.N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India and Chairman, Human Rights Commission, said here on Thursday. He was speaking at a public hearing on the right to healthcare organised by the Koramangala Slum Development Committee and the Janaarogya Andolana - Karnataka.
