Panels to help improve IT infrastructure

HYDERABAD, AUG. 19. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has said that three committees constituted on information technology and IT-enabled services with hardware and software experts will soon give their recommendations in improving infrastructure, creation of venture funding, policy improvements, etc.

This was indicated at a meeting with the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association here on Thursday. The Association made a power-point presentation on the proposed road map to `position A.P. as the leading intellectual capital of the world by nurturing entrepreneurship, research and innovation and to achieve global excellence in IT products and services'.

International airport

Dr. Reddy said the proposed international airport too would be completed ahead of its schedule. He appealed to the IT companies to move their headquarters to Hyderabad. The HYSEA president, Kedarnath, was present, a press release said.
