Diwakar Prasad knocked out

ATHENS, AUG. 20. Indian pugilist Diwakar Prasad was beaten 33-13 by Nigerian Nestor Bolum in the second round of the 54-kg bantamweight category on Friday.

The Nigerian boxer outpunched his Indian rival, who could not pose any threat, and the referee had to stop the bout in the third round and declare the Nigerian winner.

Nestor began in style, showering punches on the Indian to take a 12-3 lead in the first round. — UNI
