ERODE, AUG. 21 . Three abandoned boys between the ages ten and 14 of Andhra Pradesh were sent back to their native village with sufficient escort, the Director of Social Defence, Hithishkumar Makwana, said. Inspecting the Children's Home at Kollukattuvalasu, seven km from Erode along with the Collector, D. Karthikeyan, he said that recently, the Railway Police located three boys, Syed Basha, Sameer and Kadar Ali, wandering at the railway station. The police handed over them to the home. The boys had urged the Director to send them back. Accordingly they were sent to Chitoor on Friday afternoon by train.
